Schedule/Hours:
- Days: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday–Friday
- One Saturday per month required
- Holiday shifts required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist in a hospital/acute care environment
- Current BLS certification
- Active New Mexico or compact state OT licensure
- Acute care experience required
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy evaluations and interventions in an acute hospital setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Document patient progress clearly and efficiently
- Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques for improved daily living
- Adapt therapeutic strategies for a diverse patient population
