Occupational Therapist in Veradale, WA
Seeking a motivated professional with experience in hospital-based occupational therapy to provide therapy services in a supportive clinical setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can bring strong therapeutic expertise and a patient-centered approach to care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and current license as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care environment required
- Strong understanding of therapy treatment plans and protocols
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- CPR certification (preferred)
- Dedication to evidence-based practice and patient outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement comprehensive occupational therapy programs for patients
- Develop individualized treatment goals to maximize independence
- Perform regular patient evaluations and adapt interventions as needed
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercises
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility and legal standards
- Partner with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care
- Stay up to date on therapy best practices and contribute to a positive clinical environment
