School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) | Full-Time | Camden, NJ | Fall 2026
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time school-based opportunity in the Camden, New Jersey area for the Fall 2026 semester.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative educational environment serving students across two nearby school locations. The selected therapist will provide evaluations, direct therapy services, and support students in achieving greater independence and success within the school setting.
Position Details
- Full-time position (30 hours per week)
- 4-day work week
- Flexible schedule – choose any 4 weekdays
- Fall 2026 assignment (August through December)
- Onsite position
- Two school locations located approximately 10 minutes apart
- K-12 student population

Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and progress reviews
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines
- Recommend classroom accommodations, adaptive equipment, and strategies to improve student participation and independence
Student Population
The Occupational Therapist will primarily support students with mild to moderate disabilities across kindergarten through 12th grade. Caseload size will be manageable and determined prior to the start of the assignment.
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy License
- New Jersey School Certification required
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel between two nearby school locations

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.14 to $50.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
