School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) | Part-Time | Minneapolis-St. Paul Area, MN

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time, school-based opportunity in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area for the upcoming school year.

This is an excellent opportunity for an OT looking for a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact on students in a supportive educational environment. The selected therapist will work with K-8 students and collaborate closely with teachers, families, and special education teams to help students succeed both academically and functionally.

Position Details

• Part-time position
• 2 days per week
• Full school year assignment
• Onsite only

• Charter school setting in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Provide direct occupational therapy services
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress and update goals as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district requirements
• Recommend classroom accommodations, adaptive equipment, and strategies to support student success

Student Population

The Occupational Therapist will work with students across a variety of educational and developmental needs. Caseloads may vary throughout the school year and will include students requiring support with:

• Fine motor development
• Visual motor integration
• Sensory processing
• Self-help and functional life skills
• Classroom participation and accessibility
• Independence within the educational setting

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Occupational Therapy license
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently while remaining an active member of a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for supporting student growth and educational success
