Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current certification as a COTA
- Valid state license to practice as an OTA
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting highly preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Organizational skills and adaptability to work at different school locations
- Compassion and enthusiasm for helping students succeed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions under OT supervision, tailored to students’ IEP goals
- Aid in the development and implementation of treatment plans for students with diverse needs and age groups
- Provide direct and indirect services to students in individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatments, and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with documentation as needed
- Communicate with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress and strategies for classroom success
- Rotate among multiple school sites in Bethlehem, Allentown, and neighboring areas
