Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists on student progress and therapy interventions
- Document services and student outcomes in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Support the overall educational mission by helping students maximize their functional independence in the school setting
