Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
- Experience delivering OT services in a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively provide both direct and indirect therapy to students
- Familiarity with IEPs and school-based documentation requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Occupational Therapist in delivering therapy services, according to student IEPs
- Engage students in individual or small group sessions to help them achieve their goals
- Accurately document session notes and student progress
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student needs
