Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License
- Possession of a current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Previous experience working in a K-12 school setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt to changing student needs
- Reliable, organized, and committed to fostering student independence
Responsibilities:
- Assist the occupational therapist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Document student progress and report findings to the educational team
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support learning goals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student success
- Engage students in activities that develop fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills
