Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current COTA license valid in Illinois
- Previous experience supporting pediatric or school-based caseloads
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Flexibility to travel between assigned schools as needed
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and therapy implementation in educational settings beneficial
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the district’s provided systems and mentoring structure
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services and carry out student-specific interventions
- Collaborate with supervising OTs, teachers, and school staff
- Document progress and input data in the provided IEP platform
- Participate in team meetings, administrative discussions, and implement feedback
- Travel between sites to address student needs across the district
- Maintain compliance with district and state requirements for therapy provision
