This contract opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, travel-based role and is motivated by helping 3-5-year-olds reach developmental milestones throughout early childhood centers and classrooms.
As part of a supportive team, you’ll travel to various locations across Northampton and Monroe Counties, collaborating closely with educators and families to support young learners. Full supervision is available, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Pennsylvania Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with individualized therapy strategies for children aged 3-5
- Adaptability to work at multiple locations within the counties
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, educators, and families
- Ability to meet all Pennsylvania credentialing requirements, including TB testing and fingerprinting
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing therapy plans developed by licensed OTs to foster skill development in preschoolers
- Traveling between early childhood centers and classrooms to provide services
- Documenting progress and working closely with the supervising OT
- Participating in family consultations and school team meetings
- Maintaining compliance with all school and state guidelines
