Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Active state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Demonstrated experience or training in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
- Strong collaboration skills and a passion for working with children and educators
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Flexibility in adapting to different caseloads and school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Carry out individualized treatment plans tailored to support each student’s unique needs
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to foster student growth and success
- Document sessions and progress in compliance with school and state requirements
- Support inclusive educational practices and advocate for student needs
