Key Qualifications:
- Valid COTA licensure in the state (required)
- Demonstrated experience in pediatric settings, especially within schools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, educators, and families
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with a diverse student population
- Ability to analyze student needs and implement tailored therapy plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services under supervision of an OT within school-based programs
- Assist in assessments and contribute to planning and documentation for IEPs
- Help students develop fine motor, self-care, and daily living skills
- Support progress tracking and modifications to therapy interventions as needed
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance service delivery
