Pay Rate: $36-$43 (Based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time
Days: Monday–Friday
Start Date: Day After Labor Day (2026–2027 School Year)
Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a supportive school team with the school district for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time itinerant position will provide occupational therapy support services across multiple school sites, assisting students with a variety of functional, sensory, and motor needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a COTA who enjoys a dynamic work environment and collaborating with multiple school teams to support student independence and success.
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Travel between assigned school sites in an itinerant capacity
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising OT
Support students with fine motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, and functional skill development
Collect data and document student progress toward IEP goals
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams across multiple schools
Participate in IEP meetings as appropriate
Assist in preparing materials and supporting therapy activities
Qualifications:
Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification (required)
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively across multiple school sites
Passion for supporting student independence and educational success
