- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IEPs, documentation compliance, and school-based therapeutic strategies
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, under the supervision of an OT
- Support students in achieving their academic and functional goals in accordance with IEPs
- Prepare and maintain accurate records to meet school and state requirements
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of individualized student plans
- Adapt activities and recommendations to best meet the diverse needs of the school population
