Key Qualifications:
- Active Ohio licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Current educator certification required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to match student needs
- Collaborative attitude; comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed OT, both individually and in small groups
- Travel between three school locations within the district to offer comprehensive student support
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of sessions and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student therapy plans
- Champion best practices to maximize student independence and engagement in the classroom
