Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Massachusetts
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different school cultures and student needs
- Passion for fostering growth and independence among students
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy programs under the direction of a licensed OT
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and special education staff to support student goals
- Deliver direct and consult services to students in both individual and group formats
- Document student progress according to school district and state requirements
- Adjust interventions to address individual student needs within the educational context
- Maintain a positive, supportive environment that encourages student engagement
Position Details:
- Contract assignment, 30 hours per week
- Assignment spans August through mid-June
- Serve a diverse student population across multiple school sites
- Caseload details will be determined once on assignment
- Immediate start available
