Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts SLPA license or applicable state credential required
- Previous experience in elementary education environments preferred
- Ability to effectively assist with therapy under the direction of a licensed speech-language pathologist
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with young children and school staff
- Ready to commit to onsite responsibilities throughout the term of the contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy assistance to K-5 students based on individualized plans
- Support communication goals as outlined by supervising therapists
- Conduct sessions in various elementary school buildings, offering flexibility and variety in your day
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
- Work collaboratively with faculty and contribute to a positive school environment
