Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with an active COTA license
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is desirable
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with occupational therapists, teachers, and families
- Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to individual student needs
- Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist
- Support approximately 20 students on your caseload, addressing a diverse range of needs across the K–12 age group
- Contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress toward therapy goals
- Consult with teachers and staff to foster inclusive classroom environments
- Engage students in activities that strengthen fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Maintain accurate records and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Contract begins August 2026 and runs through the end of the 2026–2027 school year
- Part-time hours: 10–20 per week; days per week to be determined
- In-person services provided at one welcoming school site
