Key Experience and Skills:
- Active COTA licensure in Arizona
- Previous experience supporting occupational therapy in K-12 settings, especially with middle and high school populations
- Strong communication skills for working alongside students, staff, and virtual team members
- Ability to implement therapy plans and document student progress
- Adaptable and able to manage a part-time, 3 hour per week schedule
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, in-person OT support three hours per week, targeting students’ goals as designed by supervising Virtual OTs
- Adapt session strategies and materials for diverse learners in a school environment
- Track student engagement and outcomes, maintaining thorough documentation
- Collaborate with school staff and virtual occupational therapists to ensure seamless service delivery
- Contribute to IEP meetings, when necessary, sharing observations and helping modify plans based on direct interactions
