What you'll need to bring:
- Valid Pennsylvania COTA license (required)
- Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (non-negotiable)
- Experience supporting students, ideally within school-based or special education programs
- Flexibility and willingness to work in the Carbon and/or Lehigh County area
- Ability to commit to a school-day schedule, up to 35 hours per week
- Comfort and competence providing services to children with disabilities
- Must attend an in-person interview
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions as directed by supervising OTs, tailored to students’ individual educational needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student participation and access in the classroom
- Document therapy sessions and progress accurately, maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards
- Support students’ development in fine motor, visual-motor, and adaptive skills to promote success in their learning environments
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
