Qualifications:
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
- Completion of an accredited COTA program
- Experience in a school setting strongly preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students in diverse educational environments
- Support implementation and documentation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and families to support student goals
- Adapt activities and strategies to meet student needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
