In this position, you'll work 32 hours per week from August 20, 2026, through December 18, 2027, helping students achieve their academic and functional goals. You'll deliver direct therapy services in a school environment, providing support that fosters student independence and participation across a diverse K-12 caseload.
Desired Qualifications:
• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in Oregon
• Experience in school-based settings, preferably with K-12 populations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with occupational therapists, educators, families, and school staff
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice
• Adaptability within a dynamic educational environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement occupational therapy interventions as directed by an OT, focusing on educational and daily-living skills
• Collect data and document student progress toward individual goals
• Support students during classroom activities and transitions
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress with IEP teams
• Provide feedback and resources to teachers and families for student success
• Maintain accurate records and comply with school and state guidelines
