What You'll Need to Bring:
- Active Virginia COTA license
- Proficiency applying occupational therapy concepts in healthcare and school environments
- Experience or interest in supporting diverse caseloads (1-100 students)
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
- Supreme communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) is a plus
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Document progress and collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and families
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies that promote independence, participation, and academic success
- Adapt activities and environments to enable student access and progress
- Support both group and individual sessions for students across various grade levels
- Participate in meetings and help refine student support plans as needed
This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position (37.5 hours/week) starting March 2, 2026, through June 17, 2026. Compensation ranges from $35 to $42 per hour, paid weekly for your services.
