Qualifications & Experience Needed:
- Active Pennsylvania COTA license (required)
- Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (non-negotiable)
- Prior experience with students, ideally in school-based or special education settings
- Comfortable serving students with disabilities and tailoring interventions to diverse needs
- Willing to work in both Carbon and/or Lehigh County areas
- Availability for a school-day schedule, up to 35 hours per week, aligned with assigned school calendars
- Ability to participate in an in-person interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students as directed by supervising OTs and IEP requirements
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support the educational goals of each student
- Document progress, maintain compliance with state regulations, and contribute to IEP and team meetings
- Promote skill development for independence in both academic and functional school environments
- Adapt strategies and materials as needed to ensure accessibility for all students
