Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Current NBCOT certification as a COTA
- Experience working with children or adolescents, especially within schools or special education
- Ability to work flexibly within Carbon and/or Lehigh County
- Willingness to support students with diverse needs and disabilities
- Comfortable adhering to a weekday, school-based schedule of up to 35 hours per week
- Must be available for an in-person interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and families to promote student participation and success
- Complete documentation and progress tracking in line with school and regulatory requirements
- Adapt activities and environments to enhance student learning and engagement
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team planning sessions
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards as set forth by Pennsylvania requirements and NBCOT
