School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Springfield, Massachusetts

Your weekly schedule will consist of approximately 29 to 30 hours, offering a balanced workload in multiple school settings. You’ll flex your skills supporting students at several sites each week: allocating four hours at one location, as well as two days at both an elementary school and an early childhood center. Each day brings a new setting and the chance to collaborate with diverse teams of educators and students, making a real difference in a school community.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience or interest in working with Pre-K through high school students
- Adaptability to varying sites and schedules
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions as outlined by supervising OTR
- Support students’ educational goals through individualized and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapy staff
- Adjust treatment strategies based on student response and needs
- Document progress and maintain records in line with school and regulatory requirements
