Key Qualifications:
- Current COTA certification and licensure in Arizona
- Previous experience in a school-based environment or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong understanding of student-centered therapy approaches and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to various learning styles and classroom environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to K-8 students as specified in IEPs
- Support the lead Occupational Therapist in assessment, planning, and goal implementation
- Track student progress, document sessions, and contribute to team meetings
- Provide modifications and strategies to help students access the school curriculum
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student participation in school routines
- Participate in professional development activities as needed
