Full-Time School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Surprise, AZ | 2026-2027 School Year
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time, school-based position in Surprise, Arizona for the upcoming school year. Position Details:
- Full-time position
- 2026-2027 school year
- Onsite in Surprise, AZ
- K-12 student caseload
- Caseload details to be discussed during the interview process
- Collaborative school-based environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement treatment plans and interventions designed to support students' educational success
- Assist students in developing fine motor, sensory, self-help, and functional skills
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families to support student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Active Arizona COTA license
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
