What We’re Looking For:
- Current certification as a COTA and state licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience delivering occupational therapy services in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, staff, and families
- Ability to collaborate with occupational therapists and multidisciplinary school teams
- Well-organized, flexible, and approachable demeanor
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support students individually and in groups to achieve their individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Collect and document data on student progress, maintaining compliance with district and federal requirements
- Assist in developing activities and adaptive tools to enhance access to the general education curriculum
- Communicate information about progress, strategies, and recommendations clearly to teachers and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions to advocate for student needs
