Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming academic semester. The assignment runs from September 29 through December 23, providing important leave coverage across elementary school buildings.

In this position, you’ll deliver direct therapy support to students in grades K-5, collaborating with educators, staff, and supervising clinicians. Your efforts will help young learners build communication and language skills that are foundational to their academic and personal success.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Massachusetts SLPA license or relevant state credential
  • Prior experience working with elementary school students is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of therapy techniques appropriate for K-5 populations
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability in serving students at multiple school sites
  • Positive, professional communication skills with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapy support services as prescribed and supervised by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Work primarily with K-5 students, delivering interventions across different school settings
  • Document student progress accurately and maintain timely records of sessions and outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with supervising SLP, school staff, and families regarding student needs and progress
  • Adapt to varied caseloads and environments within the elementary school buildings
