What you’ll need to succeed:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Massachusetts
- School-based occupational therapy experience preferred
- Strong organization and adaptability to meet varying schedules
- Collaborative spirit for working with students, staff, and families
- Excellent communication skills to support individualized educational needs
Key responsibilities:
- Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing therapeutic activities tailored to student goals
- Support students with daily living and fine motor skills within the classroom environment
- Accurately document services and communicate progress to the educational team
- Engage in IEP planning and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
