School Occupational Therapist | Andover, Minnesota

Desired Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Occupational Therapist License is required
- Previous school-based occupational therapy experience is highly preferred
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Commitment to fostering student independence and participation in school activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as determined by Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to support student access to curriculum and school participation
- Collaborate with instructional teams to integrate therapy strategies into classroom activities
- Maintain thorough and accurate records and progress notes
- Educate and support staff and families regarding therapeutic interventions and techniques
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings and interdisciplinary planning
