Occupational Therapist School Setting - Anoka, MN

This contract opportunity is perfect for an experienced Occupational Therapist eager to make a difference and support students’ development throughout the school year.
In this full-time position, you’ll take on both maternity leave coverage and subsequently transition to a long-term, full-time role. You’ll be working closely with students, educators, and families to promote student access and participation in school activities. This role begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the 2026-2027 academic year, ensuring ongoing continuity of care for students.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active, valid Minnesota Occupational Therapist License required
- Experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Passion for supporting diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify strengths and needs impacting school participation
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans and goals
- Collaborate with teachers and families to support students’ success in classrooms and school environments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Serve as a valuable team member during IEP meetings
- Participate in ongoing professional development as needed
