Support students in Lackawanna County with a flexible schedule of 21 hours per week across 2-3 days, with potential to expand to a full-time schedule as the year progresses. Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Pennsylvania required
- Experience working in school-based or early childhood settings preferred
- Demonstrated ability to support younger children’s developmental and learning needs
- Ability to provide or obtain current Pennsylvania clearances
- Comfortable working onsite within educational environments in Lackawanna County
- Reliable and flexible; able to adjust to scheduling as hours grow
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to children in early childhood education programs
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized interventions to support students’ functional and academic success
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families for comprehensive support
- Document sessions, progress, and evaluations in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and actively contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Maintain compliance with all required documentation and policies
