Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist license
- Experience in school-based OT settings
- Familiarity with home health OT and teletherapy preferred
- Competency in conducting student evaluations (Evals)
- Ability to provide effective supervision to COTAs (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough OT evaluations for students, tailoring intervention plans to individual needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to support student progress
- Provide supervision and mentorship to COTAs, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Deliver therapy using a variety of settings, including in-person at schools, home health, and teletherapy as needed
- Maintain precise documentation of student progress and communicate findings with parents and staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
