Occupational Therapist School Setting - Palatine, IL

In this position, you'll manage a caseload of approximately 30 students, including those in both general education co-taught programs and self-contained classrooms. Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapy License required
- State and district credentials as applicable (e.g., Professional Educator License, if required)
- Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work with diverse student needs in both gen ed and self-contained classrooms
Responsibilities:
- Deliver school-based occupational therapy services to students, grades 6-8
- Evaluate students’ skills and craft individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy into classroom settings
- Maintain clear, accurate records and communicate progress with relevant team members and families
- Adapt interventions for students in both co-taught and self-contained environments
