Qualifications/Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure to practice Occupational Therapy
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- Strong skills in evaluation, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in alignment with students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Document evaluations, treatment notes, and ongoing progress in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Provide consultation and training to staff and parents to facilitate student success across school settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise toward goal development and achievement
- Utilize adaptive equipment and technology as needed to promote student engagement
