Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Certification required
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with diverse students and families
- Strong skills in conducting sensory and motor assessments
- Comfort evaluating elementary-aged children in educational environments
- Ability to work independently, organize assessments, and provide clear, actionable reports
- Flexibility for either onsite presence or virtual service delivery, with onsite strongly preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough sensory and motor-based evaluations for elementary students needing Occupational Therapy assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to coordinate assessment logistics and share evaluation results
- Utilize your bilingual abilities to connect with and understand Spanish-speaking students and their families
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely completion of evaluation reports in line with school guidelines and deadlines
- Participate in student support meetings and contribute OT expertise to individualized education planning
