Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license required
- Occupational therapy license in the state of Colorado
- Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to provide individualized and group therapy sessions
- Experience in IEP development and progress tracking is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans for students
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to deliver occupational therapy services onsite
- Support a diverse student caseload, adapting strategies to meet each learner’s unique needs
- Implement interventions to foster students’ academic and functional independence
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional recommendations and documentation
- Monitor student progress, maintain timely reports, and ensure compliance with school and state regulations
