Occupational Therapist School Setting - Arvada, CO
Make an immediate impact in educational settings by supporting elementary students as a skilled Occupational Therapist. Located near Arvada, Colorado, you'll focus on completing evaluations, with a particular emphasis on Sensory and Motor Assessments for elementary-level students.
Fluency in Spanish is essential, as you'll collaborate closely with students and families from diverse backgrounds, ensuring all communication and support are accessible and effective.
Qualifications:
- Active CO CDE Occupational Therapy Certification is required
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong communication skills
- Experience conducting Sensory and Motor Assessments for children
- Previous work in an educational setting, particularly with elementary-aged students, is highly desirable
- Comfortable working onsite, but adaptability to provide virtual services if needed
- Compassionate and detail-oriented, with strong organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive OT evaluations (Per Diem) as assigned
- Administer and interpret Sensory and Motor Assessments tailored to elementary students
- Provide clear, culturally competent communication and written reports in both English and Spanish
- Collaborate effectively with educational teams and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation adhering to all regulatory guidelines and timelines
