Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist License valid in Virginia
- Experience or strong interest in working in school-based or pediatric settings
- Understanding of IEP processes and best practices in school-based therapy
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom
- Maintain detailed documentation complying with school and regulatory requirements
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
- Adapt therapy plans based on students’ progress and team feedback
- Offer consultation and support to families and school staff
