Your expertise will help empower young learners as they develop essential skills for success inside and outside of the classroom.
Key Qualifications:
- Active, valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license (required)
- Prior experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads across both elementary and high school populations
- Adept at collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to foster student progress
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, tailored to their individual education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress
- Consult with educators and support teams to adapt classroom strategies and accommodations
- Split your time across three days at an elementary school and one day at a high school, for a total of 34 hours per week (Tuesday through Friday, with Mondays off)
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive, collaborative school environment
