Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Arizona or eligibility to obtain before the start date
- Experience working as a school-based OT is highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEP development, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent time management, communication, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide both direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Evaluate students' needs, develop and implement personalized intervention plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with school and federal guidelines
- Serve as a resource on sensory, fine motor, and functional skills to staff and teachers
