Step into a rewarding opportunity working with students in grades 8–12 (ages 13–21) as an Occupational Therapist. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Previous experience in school-based OT roles preferred
- Ability to support students with diverse needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative educational team
Responsibilities:
- Provide approximately 15–17 hours per week of direct OT services to students
- Offer consultative services to staff and families to maximize student growth
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Complete timely and accurate documentation of sessions and student progress
- Attend meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
- Utilize Wednesdays for essential documentation, planning, and team collaboration, as students have a half-day schedule
