You'll provide essential services to students, helping them thrive academically, socially, and physically.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license (must present a copy when applying)
- Prior experience as a school-based OT preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
- Proficiency in tailoring interventions for diverse student needs and challenges
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, interventions, and therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective therapy plans
- Maintain thorough documentation of services provided and student progress
- Support students in building skills for classroom participation, daily routines, and independence
- Educate staff and families on strategies that promote student growth and access to curriculum
