Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid OT or COTA licensure in Washington State (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Ability to assess and implement individualized therapy plans for students across different grade levels
- Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration with educators and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ therapy needs and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to incorporate therapeutic strategies into daily routines
- Document and track progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed
- Contribute to team efforts aimed at maximizing students’ independence and school participation
