Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist license and Vermont (VT) OT Certificate required
- Previous experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist (preferred)
- Ability to manage a caseload spanning elementary, middle, and high school students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, administrators, students, and families
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners in inclusive educational settings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in grades K-12 to support their academic participation and functional independence
- Assess and document student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and review
- Travel between four buildings within the district as needed
- Provide training, resources, and support to staff and families to promote students’ skills and participation
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with school and federal guidelines
