Occupational Therapist School Setting in Bellows Falls, VT
An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to serve a district-wide population within a supportive and engaging educational setting. This role offers the chance to work with students across grades K-12, providing valuable services throughout four school buildings. The assignment runs full-time, 35–37.5 hours a week, from August 26, 2026, through June 14, 2027.
Qualifications:
- Current Vermont Occupational Therapist Certificate
- Experience delivering OT services in school settings preferred
- Strong assessment and intervention planning skills
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities
- Adaptability working across multiple school environments and age levels
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive OT evaluations and develop individualized plans for students in grades K-12
- Implement therapy sessions addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills in line with IEP goals
- Document student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support student participation and success within the classroom environment
- Travel independently between four district buildings to serve a diverse caseload
