Occupational Therapist School Setting in Woodstock, VT

Qualifications:
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric environment preferred
- Understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and experience with evaluation and documentation processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Dedication to evidence-based practice and continuing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ functional abilities and areas of need
- Develop and implement individualized therapy interventions to support student learning and access to the curriculum
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on goal development with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services and consult with educators to integrate strategies in the classroom
- Maintain thorough and timely student records, progress notes, and required documentation
