Make an immediate impact as an Occupational Therapist supporting the success of a 6th grade student in a school setting near Bensalem, PA. This contract opportunity allows you to focus your skills on personalized, 1:1 services, delivering both assessment and intervention that makes a real difference.
In this onsite role, you’ll work with your assigned student one hour per week, split between 30 minutes of direct therapy and 30 minutes dedicated to documentation and note-taking. This highly individualized approach enables you to apply your experience from school-based, home health, and general healthcare OT settings, fostering ongoing growth and connection.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Pennsylvania
- Experience in school-based OT, home health, or healthcare OT settings
- Strong ability to support and motivate students in a 1:1 environment
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset and desire to engage with school staff and families
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions tailored to your student’s unique goals
- Assess, document, and track student progress utilizing best practices
- Communicate with teachers, support staff, and family members to ensure a cohesive approach
- Maintain compliance with district and state policies regarding therapy and documentation
- Participate in ongoing professional development and utilize advisory resources
